Join us for a Creative Aging Workshop on Thursday, September 15 with James Hart from Portland's Sojourn Theatre. James visited SWPPA last fall along with Anne Basting, Ph.D., professor at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Together, they produced The Crossings, a street performance about pedestrian safety and connecting to community as we age. Click here to watch a video about it!
At the Creative Aging Workshop, which is free and open to the public, James will guide us as we design our own version of The Crossings to be performed this fall in East Liberty. Please see the attached flyer for information, and RSVP to

Immediately following the workshop, all are invited to join the East Liberty Walkability Study. The group will take a one hour walk to capture safety concerns and needed improvements using a smartphone app developed by pathVu. East Liberty Walkability Study is a project of Aging Your Way Greater Pittsburgh.
Please note that lunch will be provided for all participants. We look forward to seeing you there!
